Summer is indeed over. And today marked the start of my new career as a literature teacher. My colleagues are nice and are good people. There was Januarius, who now calls himself Jack, a kababayan and a high school buddy. There was Carmencita Pascual, my former college professor. Both of them will be my co-teachers and batchmates here at Assumption College.

I saw my workstation and my corner in the department faculty room.And i cant wait to decorate it with my stuff and claim my territory.

I let out a deep sigh. I will indeed be facing a new path from now on. I looked out and saw the first drops of rain. Summer is indeed over.
